Program participant Jessica Cortes and her friend Kaitlin Aiken were honored by the Racine County Sherriff for helping save the life of a highway accident victim. The two assisted at the scene of a crash in the fall of 2023, providing CPR on one of the crash victims until the parametics arrived.
