He also has a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in social agency administration from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and has taken postgraduate classes from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in their college of education.

Watts is looking forward to his new role. “I am excited to become part of Racine / Kenosha Vocational Ministry team. This organization will move forward and continue its vital work, helping individuals to transform their lives and add additional value to their communities.”

James Schatzman, the retiring and founding executive director, will stay on through mid-February ensuring a smooth transition. Having accomplished the goals set out together with the board, Jim leaves the organization on solid footing, and he’s enthusiastic about his successor. “We are pleased to have hired someone of Markus’ experience and passion for the people we serve. The staff is looking forward to working with him during the transition to advance our mission in the Racine and Kenosha area.”

Markus begins his new role in mid-November. Please help us welcome him into the RVM family!
